Our spelling bee gave learners a chance to put their word skills into practice and experience the pride of taking part. A medal around a pupil’s neck marked a moment of recognition, shared with teachers and the adults beside them.
Spelling brings together careful listening, memory, and the confidence to give an answer. Each turn is a chance to pause, think, and trust the practice that came before it. Those habits matter well beyond a competition.
